The result is the \u2018riding breeches\u2019 look.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Type 2<\/b>: Lipedema extends to the knees. More fat accumulates on the insides of the knees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Type 3<\/b>: The disease extends from the hips to the ankles. The feet are not affected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Type 4<\/b>: The lipedema now also affects the arms.
