I&#8217;ve had leg pain since I was a teenager. For many years, I felt that various doctors didn&#8217;t take me seriously &#8211; no one really seemed to understand my pain.  <\/p><p>After the birth of my son, the fat deposits on my arms and legs became significantly worse. While searching for answers, I first came across the topic of <em>lipoedema<\/em> in social media groups. Various clinics were also recommended there for advice and surgical treatment.  <\/p><p>In 2017, I decided to have my first liposuction on the back of my leg &#8211; at a different clinic. Unfortunately, there were serious complications during the procedure. The operation turned into a nightmare for me and the symptoms persisted. Disappointed and unsettled, I initially didn&#8217;t want to deal with the disease any further.   <\/p><p>In 2019, I finally discovered a report about Lipoclinic Dr. Heck. I began to research intensively and made an appointment at the clinic in Hamburg. From the very first consultation, I felt understood, taken seriously and professionally advised &#8211; a completely new feeling.  <\/p><p>My confidence was back. Two leg and one arm operation followed in Hamburg in 2020 and 2021. All the staff at the clinic do a great job and show an impressive level of commitment to every patient.  <\/p><p>The liposuctions not only gave me back my freedom from pain, but also enabled me to start a new phase in my life.
