I have dedicated my medical life to surgery, one of the most multifaceted subjects in medicine. Over the past 25 years, my focus has been on diseases of the abdominal cavity and body surface. It has always been important to me to pay attention to the aesthetic aspects associated with surgery. Surgical precision is a craft that enables results that are medically convincing and aesthetically harmonious. My dedication to the disease lipoedema and its treatment combines my surgical expertise with the achievement of an aesthetically pleasing result.

It is important to me to understand my patients holistically – medically, but also on a human level. I want to be on the same level as them. The clinical picture and symptoms of lipoedema are sometimes not taken seriously for a long time until the affected patients find their way to us. Due to this sometimes long path of suffering, it is a very sensitive situation in which they find themselves. Right from our first contact, I will create a calm, open and trusting atmosphere. I will give her a feeling of security and understanding and build trust.

I want to make therapeutic decisions comprehensible, my patients should always understand which steps we are taking together and they are actively involved in the treatment process. This increases the conviction that there is a clear therapeutic strategy behind our concept that always puts the patient at the center.
