Dr. med. Jost-Hendrik Hübner

My name is Dr Jost-Hendrik Hübner, I am a specialist in surgery and nutritional medicine – and for many years I have been accompanying people on their journey to better health and quality of life.

Early on in my career, I realised that being overweight is much more than just a number on the scales.

It is about joy of life, self-confidence and the chance to actively engage in everyday life again. Patients with lipoedema in particular often faced special challenges. Despite all their efforts – eating less, exercising more – their symptoms could usually not be sufficiently reduced. This motivated me to search for new, effective solutions.

Since 2008, I have been dedicated to the surgical treatment of overweight and have established and managed a centre for adiposity and metabolic surgery. My additional qualification in nutritional medicine helps me to provide my patients with holistic care – because every person has their own story and individual needs.

With liposuction for lipoedema, I have discovered a therapy that can really help affected women. What is particularly important to me is that you are at the focus of attention. I take time for your questions, your concerns and your wishes. Together, we develop a treatment plan that suits you – in an honest, transparent manner and on an eye-to-eye dialogue.
