A path to a new quality of life - financing your lipoedema surgery
Life with lipoedema is often characterized by pain, uncertainty and a long road to a better quality of life. Many women who come to us report the emotional and physical stress that has accompanied them for years – and the desire to finally be able to live freely, carefree and self-determined again.
As a private clinic without a health insurance license, our patients have to cover the costs of lipoedema surgery themselves. We know that this can be a major hurdle – and that financial worries put additional pressure on an already stressful situation.
This makes it all the more important for us to provide you with comprehensive support. Many of our patients have chosen to finance their treatment through an independent provider – and have thus found a way to pay for their treatment in small, predictable installments.
Relief instead of burden with financing
If you are thinking about financing, we will be happy to support you with our experience and put you in touch with a trustworthy, independent financing partner. Many of our patients have already had good experiences with him – they particularly appreciate the fact that he understands their situation and provides sensitive advice. The decision is of course entirely up to you.
Note: Financing is handled by an external, independent provider. We have no contractual cooperation and only offer this option as support.
Understanding financing: Your path to a better quality of life
Many women who have undergone lipoedema surgery with us report the positive experience of being able to finance the treatment externally. Especially when the costs cannot be borne all at once, a well-structured installment payment can offer noticeable relief.
What patients particularly appreciate about external financing offers:

Clearly communicated cost structures without hidden fees create trust and planning security.Non-binding consultation:
In many cases, a free, non-binding consultation is possible to discuss suitable options.
Further tips for your planning
Even if financing is a sensitive issue, you are not alone – and there are helpful ways to deal with it:
Get clarity early on: Talk to a financial advisor as early as possible. An open discussion can help you to better understand your own situation and often takes away the emotional pressure that can be associated with the topic.
Involve family and friends: Don’t hesitate to involve people you trust in your deliberations. Support in the decision-making process is valuable – both emotionally and practically.
Check tax benefits: Under certain conditions, medically necessary treatments, including operations, can be claimed for tax purposes (e.g. as an extraordinary expense). You can find out more about this in our LipoBlog.
Keep an eye on health insurance options: Even if it is not always possible for the health insurance company to cover the costs, it is worth checking individually – for example in cases of hardship or if partial funding has already been approved.
Please note that, as a private clinic, we are not licensed by the statutory health insurance and are therefore not eligible for treatment under the statutory health insurance scheme.
